CYCLINGThis activity can be done with a standard prosthesis which should allow for a good transmission of the load on the pedal. In the case of a tibial amputation, the socket must keep the amplitudes of knee flexion needed for pedalling. In the case of a femoral amputation, the socket must not interfere with hip flexion and the prosthetics knee flexion must be adequate to allow for pedalling. We also manufacture a specific prosthesis for this sport that allows better performance.
